3MM TT Gauge Modular Curved Platform 4th Radius – Tiled Top

Description

Part of the Model Railway 3D modular platform system for 3MM TT Gauge (1:101.6). This is the Curved Platform 4th Radius with a Tiled Top finish – a fully detailed platform surface with tactile edging strips and slab joint lines, modelled to the UK standard platform height of around 3 feet (915 mm) above rail level.

A modular system
Every section in the range shares the same cross-section, end profile and platform height, so straights, end ramps and curves all line up and join cleanly end to end. Build a simple straight platform, a sweeping curved island, or a full station with ramps at either end – just combine the pieces you need. Because the parts are interchangeable across the range, you can extend or reshape a platform later without starting again.

Matched to your track
The curved section is produced at the same radius and arc angle as the equivalent piece of 3MM TT Gauge track. This 4th Radius platform curve follows the same 4th Radius as your 4th Radius track, so it runs parallel to the track at a constant, realistic platform-to-track spacing – no gaps, no kinks. The straight section matches the length of a standard 3MM TT Gauge straight, and the end ramp provides the graduated rise from track level up to platform height.

Tiled Top vs Flat Top
This Tiled Top version carries the full surface detail. If you’d rather add your own surface, or the platform will sit under a canopy or building, choose the Flat Top version – same shape, radius and height, plain smooth top.
