The Model Railway 3D N Gauge Dummy Point Motor is a realistic non-working point motor that sits beside your turnouts wherever points are hand-operated or left unpowered. It adds the same visual detail as a working solenoid motor to sidings, goods yards, stub ends and any road where a full point motor would never be seen or needed. The drop-over clips grip straight over the sleepers — no drilling or screw fixing required — and clip spacing is matched to Peco streamline sleeper spacing.

Prototype
Full-size points are moved by point machines mounted alongside the sleepers, but on model layouts those positions are often empty — hand-thrown sidings, yards and branch termini where no motor is fitted. This dummy unit fills those gaps and suits layouts of any era from pre-grouping to the present day. Dimensions approximately 18.0 × 9.3 × 2.5 mm (length × width × height). Supplied unpainted so it can be finished to match your layout.
